I sooo love this story! Even though Kazan is a character that you love to hate, he still has redeemable qualities with his weird affection for Elona. For all the haters that diss Kazan, give the guy a chance! He’s been through hell, literally, and yes he has rough sex with Elona; but he isn’t beating her, starving her, or belittling her with name calling other than referring her as “his bed slave.” What makes this story fascinating is misunderstood love conquering all obstacles.
