Die Melusine - Chapter 38 (M)
The sound of waves crashing could be heard very close by. It felt sharper and clearer than anything she had experienced, whether in the annex where she stayed or the main castle where Kieron’s chambers were located.
As Melusine slowly opened her eyes, she saw a large window leading to a balcony. It resembled the one in Kieron’s room but had a softer, rounder finish. Were those real flowers? Tiny blossoms were scattered all over the window frame and walls.
Shifting her gaze further, she noticed a sofa the same color as her hair and a vase filled with countless roses. It felt as though the garden of the annex had been brought indoors. Though the room wasn’t large, it was the most beautiful she’d ever seen. Where was this place?
“Ugh…”
Melusine tried to lift herself from the bed but gave up and lay back down again—or rather, she was laid back down. A dull ache spread through her waist and pelvis, but that wasn’t the only reason she stayed put.
“Where do you think you’re going?”
A large hand reached forward and firmly grabbed her chest. Her swollen nipples stung from the friction. As her shoulders flinched, the man still positioned beneath her stirred, growing harder.
“K-Kieron… Why?”
Ever since the day he first called her “Vercès,” she’d never woken up to find him still beside her. While it pleased her to open her eyes and see him there, the pain spreading heavily from her waist downward made her feel as though her body was on the verge of splitting apart.
“You passed out for quite a while.”
That wasn’t entirely true. In fact, Kieron had deliberately pushed her until she fainted.
He moved slowly, as if savoring the afterglow, thrusting his length two more times before pulling out abruptly.
“Ah… w-wait! …Hah!”
The sudden emptiness below left Melusine gasping for air. The sore area involuntarily tensed and relaxed against her will.
“Yeah.” Kieron nodded from behind her. His chin intentionally bumped against the top of her head.
“Ow.”
Melusine squeezed her eyes shut, then opened them to see Kieron’s outstretched palm in front of her. On it rested several tiny, smooth beads. They were a bright white with a faint hint of pink, glistening even more as the morning sunlight streamed in through the window.
“What… are these?”
Wow, they’re beautiful.
Melusine picked up one of the beads, turning it over in her fingers to examine it closely.
“First time seeing them?”
She tilted her head back to glance at him. That smirk tugged at one side of his mouth again. This time, though, his face radiated a strange sense of satisfaction.
“Yeah! Are they stones? From the beach?”
“…No.”
“Then what are they?”
“Who knows.”
They were pearls.
She vaguely remembered seeing one before—maybe at Edvard’s wedding? Embedded in the center of the crown passed down through generations of empresses in the Empire. A legendary gem said to be obtainable only from the goddess of the sea herself.
So, it seemed the tears of a mermaid truly turned into jewels. It was just that no one had known until now.
“Why didn’t you cry back then?”
“Back then?”
Melusine innocently asked again, rolling the beads around in her hand as she played with them.
“At the Duke of Varton’s castle.”
Even now, scars from that time remained on her back and waist—thin, long marks clearly left by a whip. Kieron traced one of the scars with the tip of his tongue, licking it slowly.
“K-Kie… ah, that t-tickles…”
Her flushed body trembled sweetly under his lips. Her reactions were quick and, as always, animalistic.
“Hmm… when do humans cry?”
When did they? Crying and laughing both felt like distant memories to him. Kieron’s fingers brushed along the dip just above her twitching hips.
“Probably when they’re hurt or sad.”
“Really? That’s… so strange. Ah—uh, ah.”
The man bit into one of her plump buttocks, leaving an indented mark. For someone so thin and frail elsewhere, it was amusing how this spot alone was so full in his hands.
Every touch of Kieron’s fingers or lips sent tightening waves through Melusine’s lower abdomen. Perhaps because of how long she had been tormented, even after sleeping for a while, she still felt the lingering echoes of the pleasure he had left in her body.
Humans may cry, but… mermaids don’t.
She, too, had never shed a single tear in her life. She had heard that, in rare cases, it was possible, but even her sisters didn’t know for sure.
“Ah—!”
Suddenly, Kieron bit lower, just beneath her buttock, sucking hard enough for the sound to echo in the room. A dark red mark quickly rose on her pale skin, joining the countless others he had left on her body.
At the same time, something wet trickled down her thighs. Startled, Melusine flinched and instinctively clenched her hips.
Noticing, Kieron ran a finger along her inner thigh, gathering the sticky, white liquid that had dripped out. It was a mixture of her fluids and the remnants of what he had released inside her throughout the night.
When he deliberately brought his hand close to her face, Melusine grabbed his wrist in alarm.
“Wait… don’t tell me that’s more… of it?”
“What?”
Kieron rubbed his damp fingers against her nipples, smearing the liquid over her chest. The soft yet pliable sensation as he kneaded her flesh was oddly satisfying.
Shocked, Melusine sat up abruptly, her entire body shivering.
Kieron had deliberately teased her, but he didn’t think she would truly be embarrassed by something like this. Propping his head on one arm, he watched her actions with a lazy gaze, observing her every move.
Melusine, now smeared with the fluid on her chest, hurriedly wiped it off with her hand and moved it down between her legs. At first, he thought she was trying to clean herself, but instead, she began awkwardly attempting to push it back inside.
What kind of ridiculous behavior was this?
“This… it keeps, keeps dripping…”
Melusine’s face twisted with frustration, looking as though she might burst into tears. Her cheeks grew redder by the second, and her eyes shimmered as if tears were about to spill, though they didn’t. She kept looking at Kieron as if pleading for an answer, but he stubbornly gave no reaction.
“It’s not supposed to drip… It really… It’s not supposed to come out… sniff.”
Growing increasingly distressed, she began using her fingers to rub at her entrance, searching for a way to stop it from leaking.
“That’s not where it’s supposed to go,” Kieron muttered, watching her fumble helplessly as she hesitated to press deeper. Amused by her fumbling efforts, he finally leaned his upper body upright.
“Huh…?”
Kieron grabbed her fumbling hand, guiding her fingers to the correct entrance. Her delicate, slim fingers looked as though they might snap if he squeezed them even slightly harder. Yet, they were slim enough to fit into the unusually tight space.
Taking control, Kieron slid his hand down her thigh, lifting it slightly as he pressed her damp index finger deeply into her entrance.
“Ah… ahh!”
Considering that his own thick, hard flesh had already entered her, Melusine assumed her finger would go in easily. Clearly, she had underestimated the sensitivity of her swollen inner walls. The moment her finger brushed against the tender, inflamed tissue, a sharp, stinging pain shot through her, making her wince.
Instinctively, Melusine tried to pull her hand away, but Kieron tightened his grip, pushing her finger even deeper. The ache in her lower body intensified, radiating from her core to her pelvis.
Before long, however, Melusine found herself clutching at Kieron’s shoulders, her hips beginning to move on their own. The strange pressure, initially mingled with pain, gradually morphed into a familiar wave of pleasure. After all, Kieron was the one who had taught her how her body could feel this way.
“This… this is… more… Kie… Kieron… ahh…”
As her finger slid in and out of her entrance, the pooled semen inside began to clump together and flow out more freely. Melusine’s pale thighs quickly became sticky and glistening. It was hard to tell whether the liquid was remnants of Kieron’s seed from the night before or fresh fluid from her own body.
After letting her finger stir and prod for some time, Kieron finally pulled her hand away and positioned himself between her legs once more.
“Stop wasting your time. Let’s just put it all back in—fresh.”
“Huh…?”
Even as his shadow loomed over her, Melusine could do nothing but catch her shaky breath. Her chest rose and fell rapidly, overwhelmed by the situation.
Kieron grabbed her trembling thighs and spread them apart, pressing the slick tip of his arousal—already dripping with precum—against her entrance.
A rough, guttural groan escaped his throat, mixed with a curse, as he felt the sticky, wet flesh cling to him even with the slightest touch. Just brushing against her entrance sent a shiver down his spine.
Moving his hips slowly, he rubbed himself along her slick folds before suddenly thrusting his length deep into her.
“Ah! Kieron, it hurts!”
“You were so reluctant to let it go earlier. Why complain now?”
Kieron licked a line up Melusine’s flushed cheek, which had reddened from her earlier fumbling and embarrassment, as his gaze bore into her blue eyes, shimmering like fallen pearls. Meanwhile, his hips pressed deeper, pushing himself further into her, bit by bit.
“Because of… ah… b-because of a baby.”
“A baby…?”
The thought hadn’t even crossed Kieron’s mind. No matter how much her body resembled that of a human, the idea of a child between a mermaid and himself seemed absurd—or at least improbable.
Kieron sank his teeth into the delicate curve of her neck, leaving an unmistakable bite mark. His tongue glided over the indented skin as he asked again, though it was more of a prompt to keep her talking than genuine curiosity.
“Yes. I want a baby… a baby with you, Kieron,” Melusine murmured, her arms wrapping tightly around his neck as her legs locked around his waist, pulling him closer. Her soft, urgent movements seemed to beg him to move faster, to give her what she wanted. Her wide, innocent eyes gazed up at him, filled with a mix of pure longing and childlike hope.
A sharp sigh escaped Kieron’s lips, laced with irritation. What a simple, foolish creature—one incapable of pretense or restraint. The more he understood her, the more absurd, irritating, and exasperating she seemed to him.
“Fine, then… spread wider,” he commanded coldly.
Without hesitation, Kieron drove himself deeply into her, his thrust ruthless and unforgiving.
“Ahh—! K-Kieron!” Melusine cried out, her voice trembling as she clung to him, her body yielding entirely to his.
The foolish mermaid’s wish would never come true. He had no intention of granting her such a thing.
And yet, in this moment, none of that mattered. All that mattered was the burning heat of her body pulling him in, her every movement demanding more of him. Guided by his base, unrelenting desire, Kieron thrust himself into her over and over, ravaging her sincerity and delving deeper into the very core of her being.
