Don't Support the Guide - Chapter 16 (M)
“Do you dislike it?”
Adrian couldn’t answer. The guiding energy was already flowing from Samuel, enveloping her in a soothing warmth. It brushed over her skin like a gentle caress, dissolving any will to resist.
“Please answer me, Commander.”
“…No imprinting. If we go all the way, you’ll collapse for real, Lieutenant.”
That was the most she could offer as a concession.
“Then I won’t take it that far.”
Then how far?
The unspoken question lingered in Adrian’s expression, but she couldn’t bring herself to say it aloud.
Samuel didn’t respond with words. Instead, he reached for the buttons of her uniform.
Click, click.
Each button slipping free sent a nervous shiver down her spine.
Guiding had always involved touches, even soft kisses at times, but they had never undressed like this before. Samuel’s intentions were unmistakable, yet Adrian made no move to stop him.
“You don’t have to do anything, Commander.”
Before she knew it, her shirt had fallen to the floor.
Samuel pulled off his own shirt next—his movements rough, unhesitating. Yet his intense gaze never wavered from her.
His toned, muscular frame was now fully visible. Adrian found herself staring, tracing the sharp lines of his bare skin with her eyes, unable to look away.
Then, without hesitation, Samuel leaned in, his hands reaching for the last layer of fabric between them.
“Just for today, let me take care of everything.”
His hands brushed against her bare skin, featherlight yet searing. Even that small touch sent warmth flooding through Adrian’s body.
As the tight laces of her undergarment came undone, a sharp breath escaped her lips. Samuel’s gaze flickered downward, taking in the way her chest rose and fell with each breath. Swallowing hard, he lowered his head and placed a soft kiss on the curve of her collarbone.
“….”
Adrian tensed, her stomach tightening involuntarily. She barely managed to stifle a sound as Samuel reached for the waistband of her trousers.
When he began pulling them down, she instinctively lifted her hips to help—then suddenly froze, realizing what she was doing.
Somehow, in the span of mere moments, she had been stripped bare.
And above her, Samuel was just as exposed.
Samuel’s warm hand slid under Adrian’s bare back, supporting her with a firm, steady grip. His touch was hotter than usual, his palms broad and strong against her skin, sending a dizzying sensation through her.
With his other hand, he cradled the back of her head and lowered his lips to hers.
A deep, heated kiss filled the space between them. The soft, wet sounds echoed through the office, and Adrian shuddered as his tongue traced every corner of her mouth, teasing, coaxing.
A rush of heat spread from the soles of her feet, winding its way up her spine, leaving a trail of tingling electricity in its wake. She instinctively wrapped her arms around him, her hands sliding down his back, lingering before pressing into the firm curve of his waist.
When she squeezed, Samuel tensed, his breath hitching for just a moment.
His body shifted, brushing against her lower abdomen—hot, solid, unmistakable.
“…Ha…”
Samuel pulled back slightly, his breath unsteady as he gazed down at Adrian. His eyes were already glazed over, heavy with desire.
Overwhelmed by the intensity, Adrian squeezed her eyes shut, trying to steady herself against the overstimulation.
“Commander.”
At some point, she had ended up fully reclined on the sofa, her body pressed beneath Samuel’s. His bare skin was flush against hers, his breath hot against her ear as he whispered.
His firm chest met the soft curves of her body, and everywhere they touched, guiding energy flowed between them, leaving a hazy warmth in its wake.
Lost in the sensation, Adrian let her eyes slip shut.
“Are you sure you won’t go as far as imprinting?”
His voice was smooth, coaxing, teasing.
A wry chuckle escaped Adrian as she lifted one corner of her mouth in amusement.
He’s far too sly for his own good.
And the real problem? She didn’t mind it one bit.
She shifted, lightly pressing against his chest before hooking her legs around him, drawing him back down. Somewhere along the way, she had already grown damp with warmth, anticipation curling through her like a slow burn.
The unmistakable hardness between them settled snugly against her, and Adrian swallowed a gasp.
Samuel trembled slightly at the contact, his breath catching.
“Ah… Commander…”
Adrian smiled as she gently grasped Samuel’s chin.
“That depends on how well you do.”
Samuel, flushed deep red, stared at her in silent awe. Slowly, his hand moved from the shell of her ear, tracing a languid path downward.
His touch glided past her neck, over her shoulder, down the curve of her chest and stomach, leaving a trail of heat in its wake. Adrian’s abdomen tensed under the teasing caress.
Adrian, who was trembling, couldn’t hold back and let out a gasp when Samuel’s hand touched her vagina.
Samuel swallowed Adrian’s lips. All the lust in her voice disappeared inside Samuel.
Thick fingers skimmed over her, tantalisingly. They tickled her like feathers, burning her. Adrian squirmed involuntarily.
Samuel parted his lips slightly. This was the limit. Adrian panted impatiently. She squeezed her eyes shut at the sudden sensation of being pushed inside.
A shiver ran through Adrian as Samuel’s fingers moved in slow, teasing strokes, sending tingling sensations through her. Her back arched instinctively, chasing after his touch without even realizing it.
“You like it, but it’s not enough… is it?”
It was the truth.
The intense guiding energy surrounded her, enveloping her like a soothing embrace, yet it still wasn’t enough. Her body, flushed with heat, craved something deeper—something more.
And yet, she couldn’t bring herself to say it. Not tonight. Not when Samuel had been so infuriatingly smug from the very beginning.
Instead of answering, Adrian tightened her grip on his shoulders, her nails pressing in just enough to make him feel it.
“It hurts, Commander.”
Samuel let out a strained breath, his voice catching between a groan and a chuckle.
“Ha… you’re really…”
As Adrian’s grip on his shoulders loosened, Samuel pressed a little further, his touch exploring with slow, deliberate intent. A soft gasp caught in her throat as his fingers found a spot that sent a sharp ripple of sensation through her.
She bit her lip, her body instinctively twisting in response.
When their eyes met, Samuel gave her a slow, knowing smile.
Irritated by his smugness, she narrowed her eyes slightly—but the moment she did, he pressed into that same spot again.
“Ah…!”
A helpless sound slipped past her lips before she could stop it.
But just as quickly as he’d found it, he pulled back, refusing to give her the satisfaction of another touch in the same place. His teasing, featherlight caresses only made the ache intensify, leaving her wanting, waiting.
Frustrated, Adrian let go of his shoulders and instead covered her eyes with one hand, as if that could shield her from the overwhelming sensations.
“Lieutenant Samuel.”
“Yes, Commander?”
“If you don’t want to end up flat on your back again… stop playing around.”
Adrian held back her embarrassment. It was the most she could ask for, as she was not used to this kind of thing.
“Okay.”
With a voice mixed with laughter, two fingers suddenly poked the intense spot inside, and at the same time, he touched the protruding clitoris with his thumb.
“Ah…!”
A wave of intense pleasure surged through Adrian, stealing the breath from her lungs. Her eyes fluttered open on reflex—only for Samuel to catch her lips in a deep, consuming kiss.
He swallowed the gasp that nearly escaped her, muffling the sound as he began to move.
His motions were slow at first, fluid and deliberate, like drifting over water. But before long, the rhythm grew rougher, more insistent.
Adrian clung to him, her fingers digging into his back as if anchoring herself.
Samuel welcomed her embrace, holding her closer, his lips trailing across her skin with quiet reverence. He knew exactly where to linger, exactly where she liked it most, and he didn’t hold back.
“Ahn—wait, just… wait a second, Lieutenant—”
“Adrian.”
His voice was a breath against her ear, rich and coaxing.
The sensation building inside her was too much, overwhelming in a way that left her struggling to catch her breath. She shook her head, trying to regain control.
“You know, don’t you?” Samuel murmured, a teasing lilt in his voice. “The more we let go, the more effective the guiding becomes.”
“Lieutenant, but this is—!”
“Relax,” he whispered, pressing a reassuring kiss to her temple. “It’s alright.”
It was not alright.
The sharp pleasure coursing through Adrian was overwhelming, unfamiliar. It brought her mind hurtling back to that first night—back to the bed where she and Samuel had first bonded.
And then, like a crashing wave, the sensation crested and overtook her completely.
Adrian trembled, gripping onto Samuel with all her strength as her body shuddered in his arms. The sheer intensity left her mind blank, white-hot and spinning.
Her arms went slack, slipping off his shoulders and tumbling over the edge of the sofa. Samuel caught one of them gently, moving it back into place with quiet care.
Even as her chest rose and fell in deep, unsteady breaths, Samuel’s hands traced lazy patterns over her skin, pressing soft kisses wherever his lips wandered.
Then, his voice came—low, teasing, right at her ear.
“Commander, do you want to go again?”
Adrian blinked, meeting his gaze with a look of sheer disbelief.
Where had the shy, wide-eyed guide from their first night gone? The one who had once been so hesitant, so unsure? Now, there was nothing innocent about the man draped over her, watching her with a knowing smirk.
“…I think I’ve taught you all the wrong things, Lieutenant Samuel.”
Had it been those countless guiding sessions? The excuses he used to steal deeper kisses?
As she pondered, Samuel’s expression softened—before he suddenly let out a quiet, amused laugh.
“Did you really think of me as some naive kid?”
Without waiting for an answer, he leaned in, stealing another kiss before she could react. The sensation overtook her instantly, pulling her back under, leaving her helpless to resist.
By the time he finally pulled away, Adrian was breathless, her lips damp and slightly swollen. Samuel brushed a thumb over the corner of her mouth, smoothing away the evidence of their kiss, before flashing her a wicked smile.
“But I don’t think that’s quite true, now, is it?”
***
It had already been five days since Samuel last saw Adrian.
He replayed the memory of her touch over and over again, like a restless animal chewing the cud. But no matter how many times he relived it, the aching emptiness inside him refused to be filled.
Samuel had suggested they imprint on each other if they had to spend more time apart, but the idea had only half-failed. Adrian had refused. Yet, Samuel hadn’t given up.
Every time they kissed, his hands inevitably found their way beneath her clothes. Adrian would act as if she were about to push him away—only to surrender, sighing softly as guiding pleasure overtook her.
And once that happened, their discarded clothes always ended up scattered beneath the sofa.
At one point, Samuel had muttered, If this is how it’s going to be, we might as well just meet in bed from the start.
“Absolutely not. That’s my final line of defense, Lieutenant.”
Adrian had said it so seriously that Samuel had to bite back a smirk. There was something unbearably endearing about the way she tried to draw boundaries—even when they both knew how easily they blurred.
But there was a limit to everything.
After each encounter, Adrian always checked Samuel’s necklace—a device that monitored his guiding levels. As someone ranked lower than her, overexertion was a real concern.
And then, one day, it happened.
The faint green glow of his necklace had shifted completely to orange, flashing a clear warning.
That was the first time Adrian’s expression turned unmistakably firm.
“Four days of rest, Lieutenant. That’s an order.”
It had been a command from his superior officer. Samuel had no choice but to nod. But he couldn’t stop his face from falling, disappointment settling deep in his chest.
And then—Adrian had reached out, her lips curling into a small, amused smile as she gently scratched under his chin.
“If you won’t take care of yourself, then I’ll have to do it for you.”
It had been nothing. A meaningless gesture. Just something a superior officer might say.
And yet—
Samuel had barely stopped himself from clutching his chest, the sudden tightness in his heart so overwhelming it was almost painful.
From that day on, he found himself thinking about Adrian even more.
