Lady Class - Chapter 9
Kahn clenched his jaw.
This situation was quite amusing, wasn’t it?
Rackley had mistaken this place for the Solomon estate and mentioned the name Irina. If he recalled correctly, Irina Solomon was about the same age as Rackley, meaning they were likely friends.
‘A friend who introduces gigolos?’
Rackley had mistaken him for a gigolo sent by her friend. She had no idea who he truly was. But Kahn knew exactly who she was. And now, he had realized something else.
Rackley had not willingly signed up for this so-called Lady Class.
Which meant she wouldn’t go around talking about it.
Once she returned to the capital, all he had to do was stay away from social gatherings for a while, keeping to his territory. That way, they would never have to cross paths again.
Even if she later found out his identity—by then, she would be married. She wouldn’t be able to demand responsibility for a single night.
His pride tried to rationalize the situation, but his instincts had already taken over.
Kahn’s eyes darkened with dangerous amusement.
“Then let me teach you about men.”
“I don’t need it.”
Her trembling yet defiant gaze only provoked him further.
“Your opinion doesn’t concern me. I was hired by someone else, and it would be troublesome for me to leave just like this.”
His words contradicted the smirk on his lips.
“This business is built on trust. If I lie about completing a job, nobles can be cruel. If I get caught, I could lose my life.”
His original plan had been to persuade her to forget last night ever happened. But now, different words were spilling from his mouth.
‘A virtuous young lady? A noblewoman who vowed to save herself for her husband, yet spends the night like this with a gigolo?’
The refined little girl from his childhood memories—she was the one who had tainted that memory.
Kahn found her hypocrisy repulsive.
‘You’re no different from the others.’
No, she was worse. Other women at least openly indulged in their desires. But she? She pretended to be pure while engaging in the same debauchery.
His eyes gleamed with mocking contempt.
Gripping her chin, Kahn let his gaze sweep over her exposed skin, still marked by last night’s passion.
Rackley swallowed hard, unable to push his hand away.
She was trapped on the bed, her naked body barely shielded by the sheets. And he—an overwhelmingly strong man—loomed over her as if he might claim her again at any moment.
She was flustered. She bit her lip in shame.
And yet—her heart pounded.
She didn’t understand why she had lost control so completely last night. Her body had responded in ways she had never experienced, spiraling into pleasure before she could stop it.
“I’ll give you twice the amount you were supposed to receive.”
“You think this is about money?”
“Isn’t it? This is your job, isn’t it?”
‘If he is a gigolo, he’ll take the money and leave.’
At first, Kahn had considered that possibility.
But the way she warily looked up at him, the way she clenched the sheet to her chest—something made him change his mind.
A real gigolo would never pass up the chance for more money.
But for Kahn, money was irrelevant.
This wasn’t about wealth—it was instinct.
A hunter does not simply walk away when his prey is right in front of him.
‘Let’s see how long you can keep up that ‘virtuous noblewoman’ act.’
Kahn found this little game exhilarating.
The idea of a gigolo toying with a noble lady of higher status thrilled him. His blood ran hot at the thought.
“Every business relies on trust. I know you don’t like this, but I can’t break my agreement with my employer. So I’ll have to stay here in this villa as planned.”
“Do you want more money?”
