The Slave Princess Every Night - Chapter 11
‘What am I?’
After being tormented by relentless pleasure and losing consciousness, Lenazia woke up on a lazy afternoon with warm sunlight caressing her head. She quietly fell into such thoughts.
‘At this rate, I’m nothing more than the emperor’s plaything, a doll to satisfy his depraved desires…’
Even so, she had nothing to say. Rubbing her tired eyes, she stared blankly into space, feeling as if there was no misery or sadness left within her.
It was then that Lenazia realized a soft tapping sound had been coming from somewhere for a while.
‘What is that?’
The unfamiliar sound inside an empty room made her body tense up instinctively. Could it be an intruder?
When she looked around with a hardened expression, she found the noise was coming from the window.
Scanning the room for something solid to use as a weapon, she grabbed a candlestick. Cautiously, Lenazia approached the window and opened it.
The chilly early winter breeze brushed through her hair, but for a moment, nothing strange seemed to be there.
‘…?’
A moment later, she heard the tapping sound again. Lenazia realized it was the noise of a small stone hitting the window frame and falling.
She set down the candlestick and carefully picked up the stone that had fallen on the broad windowsill.
Upon closer inspection, she noticed a tiny note tied to it. Hesitant but curious, Lenazia reached out and unfolded it.
[Hello, Lenazia.]
The moment she saw the familiar handwriting in Aitalosian, her heart dropped with a thud. Lenazia leaned out of the window, scanning left and right.
The afternoon was cloaked in a dim bluish light. As she searched desperately, she finally spotted a man watching her from a small storage shed used for storing maintenance supplies.
Unlike how she remembered, he was dressed humbly. Yet he still wore that pale silver hair, like a crown of moonlight, and his mesmerizing eyes—clear blue like dawn—were quietly gazing at her.
For a fleeting moment, he seemed like part of the landscape of coniferous forest beyond the window.
“P-Prince Regnos!”
Ah, was this a dream or reality? No matter how much she rubbed her eyes, he remained there, unchanged, just as she remembered.
How could he have made it here? Though his country was rising in power, this was still the imperial palace guarded by regular troops.
As she puzzled over it, her gaze drifted toward the forest behind the shed.
The palace of Loren was bordered by rugged mountains. If Regnos had crossed the mountains after the battle with Taringia, it wasn’t impossible for him to appear here now.
While she stood stunned, Regnos scribbled something on a palm-sized scrap of paper. He then tied it to another small stone and launched it with a slingshot he had brought.
“Ah!”
The stone, with its attached note, landed perfectly by Lenazia’s window. When she opened it, she read:
[You’re safe. I heard you had been captured by the Emperor, and I worried terribly, but seeing you again like this… I’m truly happy.]
“Your Highness…”
Reading the note, Lenazia teared up with joy.
Those were exactly the words she herself had wanted to say. It was she who had constantly sighed and worried whether Regnos might still be alive somewhere.
“I’m so glad you’re safe.”
Regnos watched Lenazia, who was now crying with emotion, for a long while. The second note that flew in said:
[I am preparing an uprising with comrades who share my cause. When the time comes, we will crush the army of the tyrant Godfrey and restore Aitalos. When that day comes… Will you join us?]
Lenazia smiled through her tears. It overwhelmed her that such a wonderful man was her prince, and it hurt that he had to walk such a dangerous path.
Her heart burned to be by the prince’s side—of course it did. But at the same time, she feared that her sullied body and her status as the emperor’s captive might bring him nothing but disgrace.
While she was lost in anxious thought, down below, Regnos wore a bitter expression. Soon, a third note arrived.
[Perhaps it’s impossible after all. Compared to the Emperor, who owns the world as his trophy, my side must seem dangerous and pitiful…]
“No! It’s not like that at all…!”
Frustrated, Lenazia pounded her chest.
She loathed being trapped here. If she could, if only she could, she would stay by her prince’s side a hundred, a thousand times over.
Maybe that desperate feeling finally reached him, because Regnos showed a relieved smile at last.
“Thank you, Lena.”
Those words, spoken in Aitalosian, were clear enough to understand just by the shape of his lips.
The next note that flew in had a date written at the top:
[On that day, I’ll come to take you from the eastern forest of the palace. Until then, stay safe just like you are now.]
After reading it, Lenazia nodded. She then watched as Regnos disappeared into the forest bordering the palace, her heart pounding in fear that the palace guards might spot him.
Tears welled up again, and her face flushed with emotion. She was simply happy—happy that Prince Regnos had not forgotten her and was coming to rescue her.
She was grateful, grateful that even though she was tied to the usurper emperor through shameful deeds, Regnos never questioned or blamed her.
Fortunately, no guards appeared before Regnos disappeared into the woods.
Before he disappeared entirely, Lenazia waved back toward him, and then carefully burned all the notes in the fireplace so no evidence would remain.
* * *
He disappeared from sight, but her heart felt lighter than it had in a long time. It was different from the past days when she was just trying to survive each day.
Lena could smile sincerely now. With hope, there were endless reasons to live. She would see Prince Regnos again. In his country, she would look up to him again and taste happiness.
To do that, wouldn’t she smile even at her enemy?
“Welcome, Your Majesty the Emperor.”
When Godfrey arrived, Lena was waiting and greeted him. That alone surprised the Emperor, and he froze in place.
Not stopping there, she took off the fur cloak that was draped over the man’s shoulders.
“…This is unusual.”
“Did you have a hard day today?”
Godfrey stared at Lena’s face for a long time, wondering if she had eaten something wrong or if she had become someone else.
“Your bath is ready.”
Then, when Lena took his hand and pulled, he willingly followed with that slight force. Arriving at the bathroom, Lena took off Godfrey’s clothes one by one. The man stood there for a long time, feeling the gentle and weak touch, which was much slower than if he were undressing himself. Finally, when his underwear was down and he was naked, his center was already swollen and erect.
Lena pretended not to see it and quietly turned her head. After checking the temperature of the bathwater with her hand and giving a look, the man obediently entered the tub.
She volunteered to help with the bath, but what else should she do? Having lived as a princess, she didn’t know how to serve others. After a moment of awkwardness, Lena reached for the bath products on the shelf.
What she picked up was a bottle made of pink stone. She remembered feeling better whenever Melgardi added this rose-made oil.
Opening the bottle, she dissolved it in the bathwater and stirred it with her arm. Then, she awkwardly poured the water with a strong rose scent over Godfrey’s broad shoulders.
His golden eyes stared at Lena as if to devour her. Godfrey pulled her into the tub, as she tried to avoid his gaze.
“Kyaa!”
Splash! A spray of water erupted. The white, thin chemise was soaked and clung to Lena’s bare skin, revealing it tantalizingly. Filled with the hot steam, she looked up at Godfrey with a flushed face.
“Why the sudden change of attitude?”
“That’s…”
Hesitating, she pursed her lips. As expected, the Emperor would not overlook her changed attitude. Anyone could tell she was suspicious. She had to convince him with reasonable words now.
The only reason Lena was acting like this was to go to Regnos when the time came. He said he would be waiting in the eastern forest outside the window. But unlike Regnos, who had the body of a strong man, she couldn’t secretly climb down the wall when no one was watching.
She had considered tearing the bedsheets and clothes to make a rope, but that was also impossible. Thinking she would harm herself, there were no sharp objects here. Moreover, all the clothes she wore were managed by Melgardi.
Given the situation, the only way to gain some freedom to go to the meeting place was to be in the Emperor’s good graces.
“I now realize that you are showing me undeserved mercy.”
“…”
“You saved me, who deserved to die just for being a royal of a defeated nation, and you are protecting me like this by your side.”
Godfrey’s golden eyes were still scrutinizing her face with suspicion. Lena felt the need to give him more trust.
“Especially when the precious lady of Taringia came, I am still deeply grateful that you took my side.”
“…”
The eye contact continued for a long time. Feeling her mouth dry, Lena moved her lips. Finally, Godfrey sighed and leaned back against the tub.
“That woman is the niece of Duke Kernten. I made a promise to easily control the nobles of Lauren, but it is only a superficial relationship.”
Lena was puzzled by the words that came out of his mouth. If he was engaged, he was engaged, but those words sounded as if he was making excuses to her about the existence of his fiancée.
Moreover, the excuse itself was flimsy. How important is it for the Emperor to control the nobles? And wasn’t that superficial relationship the very principle of maintaining and coordinating the power and wealth of the nobles?
But it didn’t matter how he was trying to deceive her. What mattered was how much he was deceived by her.
“Mmm…!”
As if he thought that was enough, he wrapped his thick arms tightly around her waist and kissed her.
“Ngh…”
The kiss was more persistent and intense than usual. Perhaps because she was in the hot water, she was even more out of breath. Normally, she would have pushed him away as soon as she felt uncomfortable, but this time she opened her mouth a little more and accepted him.
Just as she had accepted with her body that being by the Emperor’s side was safe, he had to accept with his body that he could trust her. She didn’t know how successful this plan was yet, but at least Godfrey seemed very pleased.
He easily violated her mouth with his thick tongue and sucked on her soft lips. Her head was spinning, perhaps because of the bathwater. His large hand supported the back of her head, and the kiss deepened further.
Just when she thought she was suffocating, he let Lena go for a moment. While she quickly caught her breath, the man pulled her into his arms. The bathwater splashed greatly. The two people’s chests touched through the wet cloth.
“Heut.”
“Lenazia.”
He urgently pushed what was between his legs, which was very angry, into Lena’s body. Lena was surprised and tried to pull away, but she changed her mind and slowly wriggled her hips, accepting his thing inside.
“Eueut…”
“Haa.”
Perhaps because it was in the warm water, the inner membrane was more viscous than usual, and the inner wall gripped his cock more strongly.
“Your, Your Majesty. Too…”
Perhaps the woman felt it too, she gasped and made a silent plea. But Godfrey had no reason to show mercy. The more she sobbed, the more she begged because she couldn’t stand it, the more delicious it was.
